Quick Start

Open the app

No installation, no plugins. Just open the URL and you’re ready to go. Works best in Chrome or Edge with WebGL 2.0 support.

Load a composition

A composition is a collection of visual clips organized into layers and tracks. The default composition loads automatically. To load a different one, open the menu Settings panel.

Play music

Upload an audio file or connect to a live audio source. Fantasynth analyzes the audio in real-time to extract beat and frequency data that drives the visuals.

Trigger clips

Use the touchscreen or a MIDI controller to trigger clips. Each layer can have one active clip at a time. Triggering a new clip in the same layer crossfades from the previous one.

Play from your phone

Click the devices Remote button in the toolbar and scan the QR code with your phone. The operator remote opens in the browser and pairs with your computer over the network. Use it for scene launchers, clip shortcuts, transport, and a shared fader, all in one screen. See the Remote Control guide.

Adjust parameters

Every clip exposes parameters you can tweak live: colors, speeds, intensities, blend modes. Map them to MIDI knobs for hands-on control during a performance.
